The Journey
We currently offer two routes: Edfu to Aswan and Aswan to Edfu. Both follow the same 4-day format with stops at key landmarks along the Nile.
Yes. While most guests choose a preset route, we also offer custom journeys. Just let us know what you have in mind.
Each journey is four days and three nights.
Both include the same core experiences. The difference is in pacing, timing, and how the landmarks unfold along the way.
On the Felucca
Each guest has a private, shaded cubicle with a hotel-level bed.
Yes. A support boat sails with the felucca and includes clean restrooms and hot showers.
Yes. Solar power provides lighting and charging for personal devices.
The felucca holds up to 10 guests. All journeys are private.
Food & Comfort
Yes. All meals, snacks, and drinks (non-alcoholic) are included.
Absolutely. Just let us know in advance and our chef will prepare accordingly.
We do not serve alcohol, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
Not at all. The pace is gentle, and activities are optional. The journey is designed to restore, not exhaust.

You can book directly through the site or contact us to plan a custom journey or group retreat.
October through April offers the most comfortable weather.
Yes. All journeys are private and tailored to your group, whether it’s a retreat, celebration, or friends getaway.
You can cancel up to 7 days before departure for a full refund.

Nile Whisper is a small, independent team sailing one felucca through the quietest stretch of the Nile. We’re not a company. We’re the ones who host you, cook for you, and sail with you. No engine. No noise. Just the river, as it was meant to be.
